THEREMIN BEACH
THEREMIN BEACH, UK singer/songwriter/producer is a genre-blending storyteller whose music fuses introspective lyricism with evocative, cinematic soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from the raw edge of Radiohead, the poetic urgency of Manic Street Preachers, the Britpop swagger of Blur, and the atmospheric allure of Lana Del Rey, his sound is a contemporary twist on timeless influences. With nods to the introspective angst of Smashing Pumpkins, his tracks weave lush melodies and intricate instrumentation, creating a space where nostalgia meets the pulse of today.
Rooted in themes of love, identity, and modern-day disillusionment, Theremian Beach music invites listeners into a deeply personal yet universally resonant world. It’s an ever-evolving soundscape, balancing vintage vibes with fresh production to captivate music lovers across generations.

His journey began with his dad’s four-track recorder, experimenting with guitar and keyboard. Even then, he was more interested in crafting something original than replicating the music I admired. By the age of 14, he had discovered step recording through simple software on the Sony PlayStation, which fueled my love for creating new sounds and sparked a deep appreciation for 90s dance music.
TB's influences span iconic artists like Lou Reed, David Bowie, and Nick Cave, as well as the raw energy of the Sex Pistols, the haunting sounds of The Cure, and the moody brilliance of Echo & the Bunnymen.
His currently collaborating with legendary producer songwriter Dominic Bugatti.

During his time making music, he played many gigs around the UK; some of my favourites were Leeds University (played on Channel 4), Manchester Academy 3 and enjoying the Camden scene, Headlining such venues as The Hope And Anchor, Dublin Castle, 12 Bar Club, and many more. I have also racked up several spins on BBC introducing in the North West area.

reviews from media outlets:

Struthers’ talent for words and melody and his eerie expression of his words through a deep
affect-driven vocal.”

remember for a long time to come.”
• Norman Records: “Spidery, twangy guitars weave out sweet slices of slightly baroque indie
pop... blending many disparate periods of post-punk and anthemic indie pop into something
more than worthwhile.”
• Tasty: “This is a weirdy little thing, and all the better for it... intriguing stuff framed by the
gothic crooning vocals of Chris Struthers.”
